A little about our establishment

 

A dart’s toss from the UW and the only gay bar in Wallingford, Changes Bar and Grill has been gathering friends together for 23 years. Opening January 31st, 1989, we have outlasted many of our competitors. Just a few quick minutes from downtown, Changes founder opened a gay bar in the heart of Wallingford with the intent to celebrate diversity and community. This neighborhood gay bar treats everyone like a regular, even if it’s your first time there. Changes is often referred to as the friendliest gay bar in Seattle.

Visit us in Wallingford for a comfortable atmosphere, great service, and affordable spirits. We offer a wide range of daily specials and events from our Prime Rib dinner every Friday night to THREE nights of the friendliest karaoke shows in town brought to you by Black Nail Productions.
For our customers we offer a free game night every Saturday where you can play touchscreens, pool table, and darts. Our Tuesday night special has been a long time favorite with our famous Floyd Burger specials and bottled beer for $1.25. You sure get your money’s worth while enjoying the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

With over 20 years of service to the gay community, Changes is one of the longest running gay bars in Seattle. Opening in 1989, we have served all types and have outlasted many of our competitors. We have sponsored local gay athletes including softball, soccer, and basketball.

    I defy anyone to find a more friendly and enjoyable bar in Seattle. Changes has great bar staff that make grown up beverages and remember your drink with a accuracy reserved for the space program. Specialties include, Eric’s Bloody Mary, Seth’s Washington Apple!! Get down here!
